Explores how visual elements, such as fonts, graphics, charts, and video, work within different types of documents to reach various audiences across cultures. Readings cover several aspects of visual writing (e.g., thinking, learning, and expressing) and draw on theories of visual rhetoric to explore the interaction among content, visual elements, audiences, and contexts. Culminates in an electronic portfolio and collective exhibit. Prereq. ENGW1111, ENGW1102, ENGL 1111, or ENGL 1102.
